Meet Mitesh: Our Newest Team Member at Gemini Parking Solutions

We’re delighted to welcome Mitesh to the Gemini Parking Solutions team.

Born and raised in Watford, Mitesh brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to our organisation. We recently sat down with him to learn more about his journey and what he’s looking forward to as he joins us.

Tell us a bit about your background. Where are you from?

I was born and raised in Watford. It’s where I’ve spent most of my life and where I’ve built the foundations of my career.

Can you share your career journey so far?

I started in the parking industry six years ago, and since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work with three different companies. For the past three years, I’ve been part of the APCOA Group. During my time there, I gained valuable experience and developed a deep understanding of the industry. I’ve had the chance to work on a variety of projects, collaborate with a great team, and contribute to improving parking solutions for our customers. It’s been a rewarding experience, and I’m grateful for the support I’ve received from all departments within the Group.

What highlights can you share from your time with APCOA?

Working with APCOA has been incredibly rewarding. One of the main highlights has been the opportunity to work on diverse projects that have challenged me and allowed me to grow professionally. The support from various departments has also been outstanding, which has made it easier to tackle complex issues and deliver effective parking solutions. Overall, it’s been a fantastic experience that has prepared me well for the next chapter in my career.

What excites you most about joining Gemini Parking Solutions?

I’m most excited about bringing my experience to a new team and contributing to the innovative parking solutions that Gemini Parking Solutions is known for. The company’s commitment to excellent customer service is something I truly value, and I’m eager to be part of a team that prioritises collaboration and growth. I’m enthusiastic about the opportunity to tackle new challenges, learn new skills, and help improve parking experiences for our customers.

In your opinion, what is the biggest benefit parking management can bring to businesses?

The biggest benefit parking management can bring to businesses is improved customer satisfaction and convenience. When parking is well-managed, customers can easily find spaces, which enhances their overall experience and encourages repeat visits. Additionally, it helps optimise the use of parking areas, reduces congestion, and can even increase revenue through better space utilisation and management. This leads to smoother operations and a more positive image for the business.

What trends do you believe will impact the parking industry over the next year?

I believe several key trends will shape the parking industry in the coming year:

• Advanced Technology: We’ll see more parking apps and sensors being used to make it easier to find and pay for parking spots, streamlining the process and saving time.
• Increased EV Charging: As more people drive electric cars, there will be an increasing need for charging stations in parking areas.
• Green Initiatives: Parking facilities will adopt more eco-friendly practices, such as using renewable energy like solar power and choosing sustainable materials.
• Data-Driven Management: Operators will use data to better understand parking patterns and improve space management, making it easier to find available spots and reducing traffic congestion.
